A MESSAGE FROM THE SCHOOL COMMITTEE

Dear Friends,

"Unity is strength. . . when there is teamwork and collaboration, wonderful things can be achieved."  These words of young poet Mattie Stepanek resonate in our hearts, and reflect the
accomplishments of our past year at Friends Seminary. Thanks to our incredible community, we were able to reach new heights together.

The School Committee is deeply grateful to each and everyone one of you for the generous gifts recorded in this Annual Report. We are also grateful to those who gave their time to the School as volunteers. From alumni reaching out to former classmates, to phonathon callers, to the members of the Parents Association — our community’s strength lies in our commitment to service to the School.

We are proud to serve with our colleagues on the School Committee who steward the mission with seriousness and purpose. We acknowledge those who completed their terms last year — Christel Johnson and Helge Skibeli — and welcome new members Libby Johnson and Dot Cates.

Thank you, members of the Friends community. Your commitment
brings to life the values and mission of our vibrant institution. We are indebted to you for your ongoing support and confidence. Friends Seminary flourishes because of you.

Sincerely,

ABOUT THIS REPORT

The 2014-15 Annual Report reflects all donations received by Friends Seminary between July 1, 2014 and June 30, 2015. Charitable donations are an essential and growing part of the School's budget. We are most grateful to our generous donors who support the Annual Fund, the endowment and capital projects, as well as our dedicated volunteers whose achievements are essential to helping Friends “bring about the world that ought to be.”

Great care has been taken in preparing this report to make it as accurate as possible. If you should note an inaccuracy, please notify us at 646-979-5052 or advancement@friendsseminary.org, so that we may amend our records. The Annual Report is only available through the friendsseminary.org website and is not available to search engines.
