BENEFIT AUCTION 2020
On March 5, 2020, over 500 parents, grandparents, alumni, faculty and administrative staff joined together at the Ziegfeld Ballroom for a night of food, drink and entertainment, all in an effort to raise funds for Friends Seminary. The evening's Paddle Raise started an endowment for faculty and administrative staff graduate studies. What began as the Advanced Degree Tuition Support Program, the newly formed Endowment for Faculty and Administrative Staff Graduate Studies will help support a greater number of faculty and staff who are pursuing advanced degrees in their desired fields. As a community of learners, Friends Seminary makes professional development a priority. As Prinicipal Bo Lauder often says, "The best teachers continue to be students for their entire career." Graduate studies launch our teachers into the top levels of their field giving them the confidence, wisdom, and depth of knowledge to craft the very best learning experience for our students.
