Every year the entire Friends Seminary community is asked to support the School through the Fund for Friends (formerly known as the Annual Fund). Gifts to the Fund for Friends provide unrestricted funds and are a key component of the School’s operating budget, contributing 7% on an annual basis.

 

The Fund in 2015-16 raised more than $2.3M and reached a record high 92% participation from parents, 20% participation from alumni and 83% participation from faculty and staff. The School is most grateful to the volunteers and donors listed here for their dedicated support and participation.

 

For at least 15 consecutive years, the Fund for Friends has gone from strength to strength. We are grateful to the donors, volunteers and advocates of the School whose support is essential to creating an unparalleled learning environment.

 

The funds raised had a direct impact on the experience of students and teachers during the 2015-16 school year. The Fund supported faculty salaries, financial aid, field trips, books, guest speakers, athletics, performing arts and everything that contributed to the unique Friends experience.
