THE FUND FOR FRIENDS & SENIOR FUND

Every year the entire Friends Seminary community is asked to support the School through the Fund for Friends (formerly known as the Annual Fund). Gifts to the Fund for Friends provide unexpected funds and are a key component of the School’s operating budget contributing to 7% on an annual basis.

The Fund in 2016-17 raised a record high of $2,381,322 and a record high of 92% parent participation from parents, 17% from alumni and 90% a record high from faculty and staff.

For at least 16 consecutive years, the Fund for Friends has gone from strength to strength. We are grateful to the donors, volunteers and advocates of the School whose support is essential to creating unparalleled learning environment.

The funds raised had a direct impact on the experience of students and teachers during the 2016-17 school year. The Fund supported faculty salaries, financial aid, field trips, guest speakers, athletics, performing arts and everything that contributed to the unique Friends
experience.
